The Heart Behind the Art
The forest wakes in soft golden light, and a new story stretches its wings. These small beginnings are where my art finds its voice.
The forest is my favorite place to be, a place where sunlight lights up a single leaf, where the hush of a quiet path settles the mind, and where the scent of trees, grass, and flowers feels like an invitation to slow down. In the woods of western Pennsylvania, small moments reveal themselves in gentle ways, and each one feels like something worth holding. These quiet places have shaped the way I see the world and continue to guide the heart of the work I create.

A love for making things with my hands has been with me for as long as I can remember. Painting began in high school, then photography, sewing, and all kinds of crafting followed, each one offering a new way to explore imagination and beauty. Writing grew alongside them, becoming another way to shape the stories and moments that mattered to me. As my two sons grew, we shared countless adventures in the woods and in our own imagined worlds. Some of my favorite memories are of watching them discover something new or laughing with that pure, unfiltered joy only children have. Those muddy‑boots, joyful‑chaos memories live inside the characters I create and the tales I tell, always reminding me of the magic held in simple things.

Wildheart Pen & Studio is where all of these pieces come together. It is a place to gather the warmth of ordinary days, the spark of small discoveries, and the stories that rise from quiet places. Every piece of art and every story begins with a moment worth holding, and it is my pleasure to share those moments here.
